4 years...but who's counting?

Last Tuesday was our 4 year anniversary. My how time flies when you're having fun. Its crazy to look back and think about all that we've been able to do in the last four years, and even more exciting to look forward to what the future holds for us.

On Saturday we went back to the place where Wayne proposed to me, we've decided to make a tradition of doing that every year around our anniversary! He proposed to me at the site where the Draper Temple was going to be built and then we went up to the South Mountain Golf course and had dinner at the club house. Its one of the most beautiful views of the valley. If you look at the glass behind us you can see part of it. Then to top the night off I took Wayne to Transformers. He liked it, and I got a great 3 hour nap, I'm telling you if they are going to make the movie theater seats so soft and comfy, then I am going to sleep :) He was okay with me snoozing, but he just said that if I was going to sleep I had to sleep through the whole thing, not just the "best" part like I did in the first Transformers. ha ha. And sleep through it all I did.

Also, I just had to show off my cute toe nails. Dari, a friend from work took me to get a pedicure and I just love them!

Congratulations!! wishing you 100 more. I'm jealous of your pedi, I have a gift certificate that's been waiting to be used for 10 months, that's pathetic! Enjoy your pretty toes.

The view from South Mountain is pretty amazing. I got your address and decided to make a little something for Kaelyn, so I will get it along with the tickets in the mail before the weekend. Sorry it is taking me so long.

Hey Jeana,
A friend of mine came across your blog and sent me the link. I hope you don't mind me commenting here but just wanted to let you know that we experienced SO MANY of the same things you guys are experiencing right now (just last summer with our daughter, Ellie). She was 11 weeks early, has Down syndrome and now has a repaired AV Canal. That was a difficult time but now things are a million times better and we're having so much fun! It sounds like you guys are doing great overall which is awesome. While it was happening, we didn't know anyone who had been through a similar situation so just wanted to let you know that I'm totally happy to be a resource if you need it. My email is: egray.mn@gmail.com and you can check out our blog at: www.thematterinlife.blogspot.com Take care and congratulations on your beautiful daughter!!!
